PLS8 Series Mini card
The Telit-Cinterion PLS8 LTE cellular machine-to-machine (M2M) module offers a smart solution for wireless connectivity today and in the future. With the newest 3GPP Rel.9 LTE technology, PLS8 is optimized for high bandwidth computing, enabling highest available speeds for up- and downlink in mobile networks.

This document describes the hardware, mechanical and software elements of the PLS8 series mini card. It helps you quickly retrieve interface specifications; electrical, mechanical and software details and information on the requirements to be considered for integrating further components into the sub-system.

The Cinterion PLS8 module and its variants, PLS8-E and PLS8-US, provide true worldwide coverage and reliability even while roaming across different wireless networks.
Two antenna pads enable diversity support for improved data speeds and an optimized GPS antenna path eliminates blanking and provides more consistent performance.
For investment protection, it supports multiple designs through footprint compatibility with Cinterion 3G GSM and CDMA modules including PHS8, PXS8 and PVS8.
Like all Cinterion products, the PLS8 comes with full type approval (FTA) and pre-certification from the largest global network operators which speeds time to market.
